We spend a lot of time planning travel.
We choose the destination, book the hotel, create the itinerary, decide what to pack, and make a list of everything we want to see. But sometimes, the moment you remember most is the one that was never on the itinerary.
That happened to us recently while Butiama & Beyond was in Ocala, Florida for a travel expo.
We were there to introduce travelers to Tanzania, talk about safaris, Zanzibar, culture, and the experiences we create for our guests. Then, somewhere in the middle of the trip, we spotted something we definitely were not expecting: a pet pig casually being pushed around in a stroller.
Of course, we had to get a video.
Wildlife Tuesday: Ocala Edition

The Best Parts of Travel Can Be Unexpected

You might suddenly see elephants crossing the road, watch a lion resting only a short distance away, or experience a beautiful Tanzanian sunset that makes everyone in the vehicle go quiet.
