At Butiama & Beyond, we understand that plans can change. To ensure fairness for you and for the suppliers who prepare your safari, we have established the following cancellation policy:
- Cancellation Notice
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to support@butiamabeyond.com. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted. - Refund Schedule
- More than 90 days prior to departure: 50% refund of total trip cost.
- Between 60 and 89 days prior to departure: 25% refund of total trip cost.
- Within 60 days of departure: No refund, and full payment will be retained.
- No-shows and cancellations after travel begins: No refund for any portion of the trip.
- Trip Insurance
We strongly recommend that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, and evacuation coverage. Butiama & Beyond is not responsible for losses due to cancellation, weather, border closures, or other unforeseen events. - Supplier Policies
Some components (such as flights, accommodations, and third-party transfers) may have separate refund and cancellation rules set by their suppliers. These may affect your overall refund. - Changes & Amendments
Any request to change booking dates or transfer reservations must be made in writing. Amendments may incur additional fees and are subject to availability. - Refund Processing
Refunds (when applicable) will be issued within 30 days of confirmed cancellation.
